Help Us Support Josh Talbott
Josh Talbott, a local downtown artist and avid martial artist, was involved in a freak accident last week that resulted in a severe multiple fracture of the leg, leading to surgery and an inconclusive prognosis. Like most full time artists, Josh does not have health insurance nor the money to cover the thousands of dollars worth of medical bills that are already accumulating. We hope to generate enough sales and support with this show to offset at least some of his medical costs and worries. Please come down and check out the new body of work by this rising artist. Josh Talbott is a third generation artist from a large southern family. The focus of his upbringing was integrity, hard work, and individuality. Pursuing drawing at a young age led to a continued dedication to refining his skills as a painter and inspired Josh to cultivate work in the art field as an adult. Creating murals and scenic art for film and theme parks led the way to his career as a fine artist. Self taught and relying mainly on trial and error, the development of his skills and imagination has led to imagery evocative of human emotions on a surreal platform. In addition to painting, he enjoys travel, martial arts, and bicycling.
